How does it work?

Laser removal or permanent reduction of unwanted hair depends on the scientific principles of selective photothermal decomposition. When the right wavelength of laser is shone on the hair in the treated area, the melanin in the hair absorbs the light and converts it into heat. The build-up of heat leads to the destruction of hair follicles and the associated stem cells and dermal papillae, while the surrounding skin is not damaged. Some hair follicles only become damaged or regrow, so multiple treatments are needed to effectively reduce or eliminate excess hair for lasting results.

In order to successfully remove excess hair with laser treatment, energy must be carefully applied so that the hair follicles are damaged, but the nearby skin and tissues are not harmed. This can be more or less difficult depending on the individual characteristics of each patient, such as skin color, hair color, and hair thickness. When treating hair with a laser, one can take these characteristics into account by adjusting treatment parameters such as energy, pulse width, and repetition rate. Many devices have limited utility because different parameters cannot be adjusted independently (if at all). Understandably, darker skin is more challenging to treat because melanin in the skin has a higher concentration and is a competing chromophore; In these cases, treatment may be too painful or cause burning.HS-310C插图1

The unique selective photothermal effect of photon rejuvenation: the intense pulsed light of a specific spectrum is irradiated on the skin, and the target absorbs light energy to heat, resulting in thermal effects, so as to achieve the purpose of treatment. And different bands, there are different bands of target targets.

1, 530-590nm band, hemoglobin absorption efficiency is the highest: hemoglobin absorbs light energy into heat energy, so that blood coagulation, blood vessel wall produces heat-mediated damage, blood vessel closure. Blood clots and residual cell particles are swallowed by macrophages of the autoimmune system and removed.

2, 560-590nm band, the highest absorption rate of melanin: melanin groups absorb light energy into heat energy, melanosomes are crushed by heat and shock wave, and pigment granules are also swallowed and metabolized by macrophages.

3. In the 700-1200nm near-infrared band, the water absorption efficiency is the highest: light energy in this band can penetrate into the dermis and act on the hydrated collagen. Collagen is heated by 50-55 degrees, and the collagen is deformed and contracted, and the arrangement is more dense, while inducing the generation of more collagen.
